Giants Fall 4-3 in Game One
Oliver Bjorkstrand scored his second of the night at 18:23 of the third period to lift the Portland Winterhawks to a 4-3 win over the Vancouver Giants Friday night at the Moda Center.
Jackson Houck opened the scoring midway through the first period.
Brett Kulak had a goal and an assist on the night, and Thomas Foster had the other Vancouver goal.
Payton Lee made 41 saves in the game and was named third star of the game.
Vancouver was perfect on the penalty kill, not allowing Portland to score on any of their 5 power play chances.
