Player’s Choice Nicknames Featured on Chiefs’ 2018 Breast Cancer Awareness Jerseys
SPOKANE, Wash — On Saturday, February 24, the Spokane Chiefs will take on the Kootenay ICE in their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by Red Lion River Inn. For the eighth consecutive season, Chiefs players will wear special pink-accented jerseys to be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting a local non-profit organization. For the first time ever, the jerseys will feature special player-selected nicknames on the nameplate!
Chiefs fans will have the ability to bid on the player-worn jerseys via a silent auction at the main gates throughout the night’s game. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Every Woman Can, an organization that is on a mission to save lives and motivate women to get an annual mammogram beginning at the age of 40.
The Chiefs’ Official Team Store will also be selling limited-edition pink Breast Cancer Awareness Chiefs t-shirts for $10 with all profits benefiting Every Woman Can.
