PINK JERSEYS FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
On Saturday, February 26th the Spokane Chiefs and Waterbrook Wine will help raise awareness and funds for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Eastern Washington Affiliate on Breast Cancer Awareness Night. The Tri-City Americans will visit the Arena for the fifth time this season. The Chiefs will be wearing a special pink jersey, use pink stick and sock tape and wear a pink ribbon decal on their helmets. Two 18′ pink ribbons will also be painted in the Arena ice.
The Chiefs and Waterbrook Wine will be giving away the game worn jerseys. Ten will be given to fans who signed up at participating displays at local stores. The other 10 will be selected from entries collected at the game.
Fans can help raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Eastern Washington Affiliate by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK (7825) and mentioning Breast Cancer Awareness Night to receive a special ticket rate. Proceeds from the sale of a special pink t-shirt and from the group tickets will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
