KERMIDAS NAMED EQUIPMENT MANAGER
The Spokane Chiefs have announced that Alex Kermidas has been hired as Equipment Manager. The 21-year-old replaces Kacee Coberly, who resigned over the summer to be closer to family in Oklahoma.
Kermidas had served as an Assistant Equipment Manager for the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League since 2006, working under Chiefs’ Head Coach Don Nachbaur in the 2009-10 season. He began working for his hometown Senators as a Stick Boy in 2003.
Kermidas will be on hand when the Chiefs open their Annual Fall Camp with ice sessions on Thursday, August 25th. All sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, plus the Red-White Scrimmage on Sunday, August 28th, will be free and open to the public at the Spokane Arena.
