CALDER CUP AT SPOKANE ARENA WEDNESDAY

Tyler Johnson’s appearance with the Calder Cup at the Spokane Arena has been rescheduled for Wednesday, August 22nd at 11:00 a.m.  Due to travel difficulties, Tuesday’s appearance at the Arena was cancelled.

Johnson will be at Tuesday night’s Spokane Indians game at Avista Stadium and is scheduled to throw out the first pitch.  Gametime is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

The former Chief helped the Norfolk Admirals win the American Hockey League championship in his first season as a pro last year.  Johnson signed a free agent contract with the Admirals parent club, the Tampa Bay Lightning, at the end of his fourth and final season in Spokane in 2011.
