PREVIEW: Chiefs hit the road to take on Wenatchee Friday night
Wenatchee, Wash. — The Spokane Chiefs travel to Wenatchee for the first time this season to take on the Wild. The teams last faced each other just last week, with the Wild skating to a 8-6 victory. The first contest between the new divisional foes was a back-and-forth goal-filled affair, which saw Conner Roulette, Owen Martin, Rasmus Ekström (2G), Ben Bonni and Chase Bertholet all score. It was Ekström’s first career Western Hockey League goal. Former Chiefs defenseman Graham Sward logged three points on the night with three assists. Spokane is looking to bounce back tonight after a tough 3-0 shutout loss to the Vancouver Giants at home on Wednesday.
