REGULAR SEASON VS MOOSE JAW:  This will be the first of eight meetings between the Broncos (2-0-0-0) and Moose Jaw Warriors (0-2-0-0) this season.  Last season the Broncos held a 3-2-1-0 record against the Warriors and went 1-2-0-0 when playing them at home.

VS EAST DIVISION:  The Broncos currently hold a 2-0-0-0 record against East Division opponents this season.

ROSTER: The Broncos roster currently consists of 25 players. There are 10 rookies and 15 veterans on the roster.

CAPTAINCY:  Forward Colby Cave was named the 27^th captain in franchise history Thursday, while Dillon Heatherington, Graham Black and Coda Gordon were named alternates based on a team vote.

WHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Rookie defenceman Julius Honka was named Denny’s WHL Player of the Week  for the week ending September 23rd, after registering six points (1G,5A) and a +4 rating in two games played.

MILESTONES: 

Jake DeBrusk scored his first goal of his WHL career Saturday night.

Graham Black is four games shy of the 150 mark of his WHL career.

Colby Cave is five games shy of the 150 mark of his WHL career.

Coda Gordon is two goals shy of the 50 mark of his WHL career.

NHL CAMPS:  Defenceman Dillon Heatherington (Columbus Blue Jackets) and forwards Coda Gordon (Calgary Flames), Graham Black (New Jersey Devils) and Colby Cave (San Jose Sharks – Free Agent) have all returned from their respective NHL camps.

Dillon Heatherington was drafted in the 2^nd round (50^th overall) by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Graham Black was drafted in the 5^th round (135^th overall) by the New Jersey Devils in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Coda Gordon was selected in the 6^th round (165^th overall) by the Calgary Flames in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
