WHO’S HOT: Kyle Bortis has been a welcomed addition to the lineup after being sidelined for an extended period of time in January due to injury…Since returning, Bortis has 7 goals and 6 assists in 15 games…Geordie Wudrick has 3 assists in 5 games since returning from the Canada Winter Games while David Stieler is on a 4 game point streak that has seen him score twice and add 4 assists…Jeremy Schenderling is on a 5 game point streak and has 4 goals and 2 assists in that stretch.

HOUSTON PIZZA SKILLS CHALLENGE: The Houston Pizza Skill’s Challenge featuring the Swift Current Broncos was held on February 5^th, 2007 at the Centennial Civic Centre…Dale Weise took home honours in the hardest shot category with a blast of 99 miles per hour and an average speed of 95.67 miles per hour over three shots…Eric Doyle (92, 94, 91), Paul Postma (89, 89, 91), and Jeremy Schenderling (90, 89, 89) were the only other players to break the 90 mile per hour mark…Daniel Rakos won the accuracy shoot, hitting 9 targets in just 9.49 seconds…Zack Smith was the team’s fastest skater while Kyle Moir stopped 10 of 10 shots during the breakaway relay.
