Broncos Take 2 Points Versus Tribe

Thanks to a strong effort by special teams, as well as another shutout by a Broncos goaltender, the team managed to frustrate the Winter Hawks offense throughout the game en route to their 13th win of the season.

The Broncos power play finished the night at 2 for 8, while their penalty kill was a perfect 7 for 7 and managed to create numerous odd man rushes including a near breakaway during a 5 on 3 penalty kill.  The Broncos scored more than 1 power play goal in the game, marking the first time they have scored 2 or more goals on the power play in nearly a month.

Geordie Wudrick, Grant Toulmin, and Kyle Bortis all scored for the Broncos while Travis Yonkman stopped all 24 Portland shots for his 2nd shutout of the season and 5th shutout for the Broncos.
