Broncos Looking for Marketing/Sales Coordinator
The Swift Current Broncos are looking for a Marketing/Sales Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, organized individual who strives to achieve excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Recruit and coordinate volunteer employees
• Plan and coordinate all promotional aspects of the organization including 36 regular season games
• Develop comprehensive sponsorship and ticketing initiatives
• Sell sponsorship and ticket packages
• Develop comprehensive marketing and sales plans
• Design promotional products
• Design business development initiatives
• Execute all sponsorship programs
Qualifications:
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Ability to perform duties in a timely and efficient manner in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact professionally with business, media and community partners
• Excellent organizational skills with specific attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays based on the event schedules
• Knowledge of hockey and the Western Hockey League
• Very comfortable with all aspects of social media including Facebook and Twitter
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office programs
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Fireworks or an equivalent graphics program is preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with little supervision
• Energetic personality and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills
Education/Experience:
• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Sports Management or a comparable combination of education and experience
• Proven success within the sport and/or marketing industry would be a definite asset
Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
