Dingman, Yerex to Represent Broncos at WHL Cup
A pair of Swift Current Broncos prospects are set to represent the Broncos, and their provinces at the upcoming WHL Cup presented by FPS Payment in Red Deer between October 18 and 22.
Sawyer Dingman will put on the jersey of Team Alberta, while Daxon Yerex will suit up for Team Manitoba.
Dingman, out of Edmonton, Alta., is a Second-Round pick of the Broncos in the most recent WHL Draft. He signed his WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement on May 27, 2023. Dingman joined the Broncos for Training Camp this season and played in three pre-season games with the club, scoring two goals. This season, Dingman is suiting up with the Northern Alberta Extreme U18 Prep squad. He has played in one game and was held pointless.
Yerex, from Oak Bluff, Man., is a Third-Round pick of the Broncos in the most recent WHL Draft. He is yet to sign his WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement but did join the Broncos for Training Camp this season. Yerex is suiting up this season for Rink Hockey Academy Winnipeg’s U18 team. In one game this year, Yerex has two assists.
