Pride Night | Jersey Reveal

On Saturday, the Saskatoon Blades are teaming up with Saskatoon Pride and Tourism Saskatoon to bring you Pride Night — a night dedicated to the celebration of inclusion and acceptance in our community.

The Blades will be donning special, limited-edition jerseys, adorned in Pride markings, which include a rainbow-themed Pacman, rainbow stripes on the arms and waist, and multi-colored socks. Hockey fans will also notice a change in each player’s name bar. Rather than sporting their last name on their back, each name bar has been replaced with a word that is directly connected to the Pride Community.

The team unveiled these jerseys on Thursday, two days ahead of their game against the Winnipeg ICE.

Hockey fans will have the opportunity to own one of the game-worn jerseys as well. Stay tuned for more details on a live, online auction, giving you the chance to bid on your favourite player’s sweater.
