In-Stand Host Clayton Kroeker
Hey Blades fans! My name’s Clayton Kroeker and I’m the guy on the mic for Blades home games! I’m a Saskatoon boy through and through, which means I’ve always loved the Blades! I still remember watching Michael Garnett shut the door between the pipes, Darcy Hordichuk beating the snot out of people and Devin Setoguchi going bar down on pretty much every goalie in the league. I remember the old bulldozer logo, the big Brayden Schehn trade, and Ryan Keller playing for the Blades as opposed to coaching them! Being the blades in-stand host is the best second job in the world! I get to hang out with the fans, tell some jokes, and give away a bunch of awesome stuff. Being able to watch every Blades home game for free is a nice perk too! If you see me walking around SaskTel Centre on game days, say hey! I love chatting hockey with the best fans in the WHL! I work at 96.3 Cruz FM in Saskatoon. I love being a part of this awesome franchise! I used to go to the games all the time as a kid, now I get to pump the crowd up! Go Blades go, baby!

PA Announcer Jeff Hayes
Hi Blades fans, my name is Jeff Hayes and I’m the PA Announcer for the Saskatoon Blades. I have been on the airwaves of Saskatoon radio for many years, with the last few years of my career in advertising. While I intended on doing it for only a couple years, it has turned into 18 years and well over 700 games!
While announcing goals and penalties and more for the Blades, some of my highlights have been announcing for the 2010 World Juniors, The Memorial Cup, & NHL Pre-season games to name a few. I do joke that I’m the first announcer to ever announce Connor McDavid as the first star of an NHL game (even if it was pre-season).
Outside of the arena, I work for Saskatoon Media Group, and will never turn down a game of golf if asked.
