BLADES SELECT MCKENZIE DWYER IN ROUND 11

Wit the 233rd overall pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft, the Saskatoon Blades selected Mackenzie Dwyer.

Dwyer is a 5’11 defenceman from Winnipeg, Manitoba.  He spent the year with the Winnipeg Sharks, posting 11 points and 75 penalty minutes in 29 games.

“Mackenzie is a solid two way defenceman,” said Saskatoon Blades Assistant General Manager Jarrod Brodsky.  “He skates well, has quick feet, moves the puck well and plays the game with some bite on the backend.”

The Saskatoon Blades would like to welcome Mackenzie Dwyer and his family to the organization.
