BLADES SELECT HAYDN HOPKINS

With the 257th overall pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft, the Saskatoon Blades selected centre Haydn Hopkins.

Hopkins is from Victoria, B.C. and played this season with the Victoria Racquet Bantam club this season.  In 40 games this year, the 5’8 forward posted 54 goals and 138 points.

“Haydn is a player that always skates hard and plays much bigger than his size,” said Saskatoon Blades Assistant General Manager Jarrod Brodsky.  “He’s got good skill and really improved throughout the season.”

The Saskatoon Blades would like to welcome Haydn Hopkins and his family to the organization.
