Blades Are Back Home After Road Swing
The Saskatoon Blades return to action this week with a bit of a light schedule following the team’s five game US Division road swing.
The Blades play a pair of games this week against east division rivals, one at home and one on the road.
First up, the Regina Pats are in Saskatoon on Wednesday to battle the Blades. Regina is off to a red hot start to the season with a record of 9-4-0-0 for 18 points, good for first overall in the division. It marks the first meeting of the season between the two teams this year.
The game is a Wired 96.3 Game Day and as part of the festivities, fans might just get an early peek at some special edition jerseys the Blades will be releasing officially on November 5th. You won’t want to miss it.
Also, $1 from all walk-up tickets to the Wednesday game will go towards the United Way, so come support a great cause!
Following the game, the Blades will have another couple of days off before returning to the ice in Prince Albert for a battle with the Raiders on Saturday night. That will be the third meeting of the season between the two clubs with Saskatoon winning the first two at the very start of the year.
