The Saskatoon Blades (9-2) invade the Moose Jaw Events Centre for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Warriors (9-2). The Blades evened the series 1-1 on Saturday after a 3-2 overtime win at SaskTel Centre. Both games in the series needed an extra frame to decide the outcome after the Warriors took Game 1 the night before in a 4-3 overtime win. Saskatoon went 1/4 on the man-advantage in Game 2, while the Warriors were unsuccessful on two attempts. Bridge City Faithful have travelled well so far this postseason, and the Blue and Gold are expecting the same kind of showing from their fans on the road tonight.
Who to Watch
Alternate captain Fraser Minten was the overtime hero in Game 2 for the Blades on Saturday. The Toronto Maple Leafs prospect buried his sixth of the postseason after a beautiful cross-ice feed from forward Lukas Hansen. The Vancouver, BC product has 11 points in as many games this postseason, six goals and three assists coming in his last seven outings.

Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick Brandon Lisowsky scored the game-tying goal in Game 2 against the Warriors. The 2004-born sniper has points in four straight games, collecting three goals and five assists in that span. It’s the Port Coquitlam, BC product’s third postseason with the Blue and Gold, owning five goals and eight assists in 11 games so far this year.

Nashville Predators prospect Tanner Molendyk scored his first powerplay goal and second goal total this postseason in Game 2 vs the Warriors. Molendyk has a goal and five assists on his four-game point streak and two goals with six assists in 11 games this postseason.

Anaheim Ducks prospect Egor Sidorov has eight goals and four assists on his four-game point streak. The 6-foot sniper had two assists in the 3-2 overtime win Saturday, giving him a team-leading 18 points in 11 games these playoffs. Sidorov’s 12 goals lead the WHL in the postseason, two ahead of Warrior forward Jagger Firkus.
