|
The leaves are changing just like how the Saskatoon Blades (0-3-0-0) look to change their preseason fortunes tonight at the Art Hauser Centre against the Prince Albert Raiders (2-1-0-0)
It was a losing effort for Saskatoon on Sunday, falling to 0-3-0-0 in the preseason after a 6-3 loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings at SaskTel Centre. Forward Tyler Parr scored a pair of goals for the Blue and Gold while 20-year-old defenceman Grayden Siepmann netted his first of the preseason as well. Siepmann (Utah Hockey Club), along with fellow defenceman Tanner Molendyk (Nashville Predators), forward Brandon Lisowsky (Toronto Maple Leafs), and Evan Gardner (Columbus Blue Jackets) left for NHL rookie camps on Tuesday.
Tonight’s the second meeting of the preseason between the Highway 11 rivals. Prince Albert won 4-1 in the first bout at home. The Blades’ preseason finale is tomorrow night at the Warman Home Centre Communiplex against the Raiders. Tickets for the annual game in Warman can be purchased HERE
The Saskatoon Blades home opener is on Saturday, Sept. 21st at 7:00pm vs the Swift Current Broncos. Single game tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE
