Blades shave preseason roster down to 30 players
Saskatoon, SK – An idea of what the Saskatoon Blades opening night roster will look like has become slightly more clear. The team has reduced their preseason roster down to 30 players.
Following Friday night’s preseason tilt at Westoba Place against the Brandon Wheat Kings, the Blades reassigned 2009-born defencemen Julian Revel and Spencer Kuntz, along with 15-year-old forward Cohen Lewko to their minor league teams.
Fellow 2009-born forward Jaggar John was reassigned to OHA Edmonton U17 Prep of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) after Sunday night’s rematch against Brandon at SaskTel Centre.
The Bridge City Bunch hunt for their first preseason win on Friday at the Art Hauser Centre against the Prince Albert Raiders. Exhibition action concludes the following night at the Warman Home Centre Communiplex against Prince Albert.
