Tonight
The Saskatoon Bananas (34-24-3-1) take on the Moose Jaw Warriors (35-22-3-2) in what’s a likely preview of a first-round playoff matchup.
The Bananas will look to peel away back-to-back losses, ripened with hunger to return to the win column.
Their most recent setback came in Regina, falling narrowing 3-2 to Connor Bedard and the Pats on Wednesday.
Prior to that, the Banana City Bunch fell to Moose Jaw 7-0 last Saturday at Mosaic Place.
Saskatoon sits three points back of Moose Jaw for home ice advantage in the first round.
Both squads have six games remaining this season, with the Bananas dropping the puck at SaskTel Centre four more times.

Take Your Pick
Alternate captain Kyle Crnkovic notched Saskatoon’s opening marker against the Pats on Wednesday, which earned him the WHL’s Highlight of the Night nod. The 2002-born winger sits fourth in league scoring with 89 points (36G-53A) in 62 games.

Captain Tristen Robins, who’s wearing the C following the departure of Aidan De La Gorgendiere due to a season-ending surgery, picked up two assists in Regina on Wednesday. The pending WHL graduate is working on a career-high 75 points (32G-43A), which places him second in team scoring behind Crnkovic.

Draft-eligible forward Brandon Lisowsky has five goals in seven games against Moose Jaw this season, and will look to rekindle his scoring touch after going pointless in the last five contests. The Port Coquitlam, BC product scored his first career hat-trick in Moose Jaw on December 14th.
Hunting Home Ice
Banana City is entering the playoff crunch with just six regular season games to go. The Bananas sit three points back of the Moose Jaw Warriors for the fourth and final home-ice advantage position in the Eastern Conference. Saskatoon officially earned a berth into the 2022 WHL Playoffs on March 25th, defeating the Regina Pats 3-1 in front of more than 7,500 Banana City faithful.
