January 24th: CH2M Hill Nuclear Night!
Join us at the Toyota Center this Friday, January 24th for the 5th annual CH2M Hill Nuclear Night, presented by Hot 97.5 FM and the Tri-City Herald. Your Americans face-off against the division-rival Seattle Thunderbirds on CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company’s annual tribute to the atomic history of the Tri-Cities, and fundraiser for the Tri-City Hockey Booster Club’s Player’s Continuing Education Fund!
This year’s event is highlighted by:
• Specialty nuclear-inspired team jerseys that will be auctioned off online after the game
• In-arena Silent Auction featuring a variety of player autographed memorabilia and Nuclear Night items
• Limited-edition Nuclear Night merchandise
• Hanford History Outreach from the B-Reactor Museum
This year’s game-worn Nuclear Night Jersey auction will again take place online at AmsHockeyAuctions.com. Online bidding starts at 10:30 PM on Friday and will feature all game-worn and non game-worn player jerseys and additional blank jerseys that do not have player names or numbers. For jerseys, the minimum bid is $250 with a Buy It Now option of $500. The auction closes at 10:00 PM on Sunday, January 26th, with all proceeds benefitting the Player’s Continuing Education Fund!
The fundraising fun will ‘mushroom’ onto the Toyota Center concourse as well, with a large silent auction featuring glow-in-the-dark player autographed pucks and autographed sports memorabilia. You can also get your limited-edition 2014 Nuclear Night merchandise by visiting the Americans’ Team Store on the Toyota Center concourse this weekend.
Nuclear Night also provides a great opportunity for fans to learn more about the atomic history of the Tri-Cities region! Representatives from the famous B-Reactor Museum will be on the Toyota Center concourse to talk and visit with fans.
The first 2,000 fans will receive the first set of 2013-14 Tri-City Americans Trading Cards, courtesy of U.S. Cellular. It’s also another Tri-City Herald Family Friday Night, so be sure to clip the coupon in Thursday’s edition of the Tri-City Herald, Friday’s edition of Atomictown or online at Tri-CityHerald.com to receive 4 tickets for just $64 at the Toyota Center box office!
And, if you have a group of 10 or more going to the game, you can save your group some money by contacting the Americans’ offices at (509) 736-0606 and arranging a Group Night.
