The Americans and Cougars will matchup for the third time in their four-game season series and first time this season at the Toyota Center.
The two teams faced off on opening weekend with the Cougars winning the first game 9-0 and the Americans bouncing back the next night with a 6-4 victory. Cougars forward Zac Funk leads head-to-head scoring with three goals and four assists against the Americans. Jake Sloan leads the Americans against the Cougars with four points (three goals, one assist) after recording his first WHL hat trick in Prince George.
Tonight kicks off a three games in three day stretch for the Americans. They will look to put themselves back in the win column tonight after falling 6-3 to the Saskatoon Blades on Tuesday.
