LAST GAME: The Americans opened up the 2026-27 with a shootout loss to the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday. Trailing 2-0 early in the second, Dylan LeBret and Evan Wanner scored to tie the game and force overtime. Cruz Pavao gave the Americans the lead in the shootout, but Gavin Burcar scored to extend it before Ozzie McIntyre won it in round four, spoiling the Americans home opener. Xavier Wendt stood tall for Tri-City, finishing with 37 saves in the loss.
VS KAMLOOPS: Tonight is the first of three meetings between the Americans and Blazers this season. Kamloops will make two visits to the Toyota Center this year while the Americans have just one game at the Sandman Centre, October 21. The season series wraps up February 24 at the Toyota Center. Last year the Americans went 2-1-1-0 against Kamloops, winning once at home and once on the road.
