A right-shot defenceman with good speed and elusive skating ability, Billy Constantinou played big minutes with the Kingston Frontenacs in the latter half of the 2018-19 season.
The 6-foot, 185Ib native of Scarborough, Ont. got off to a good start with the Niagara IceDogs before joining Kingston in November. He finished the season with 33 points (10-23–33) in 66 games.
NHL Central Scouting describes Constantinou as a “very good skater with quickness and mobility to his game. He’s an offensive-minded defenceman with requisite puck skills, good acceleration and excellent compete and battle for the puck.”
Constantinou enters the 2019 NHL Draft as the 58th ranked North American skater in NHL Central Scouting’s Final Draft Rankings.
