Futures Watch: Saginaw Spirit
The Saginaw Spirit enter 2024-25 off their most memorable season in the club’s history, hoisting the Memorial Cup on home ice just a couple short months ago. A bulk of the club’s veterans are moving on, but the Spirit have a talent group coming back with Calgary Flames first round pick Zayne Parekh and projected first round 2025 NHL Draft pick Michael Misa leading the way. The Spirit selected Toronto Jr. Canadiens forward Dima Zhilkin in the opening round of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection, one of 12 prospects joining the organization back in April.
