Gilmour will also be one of 30 plus players that are expected to attend this weekend’s Spirit Development Camp, with the scrimmages taking place at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena. There will be two scrimmages in all with the first going on Saturday, April 25 from 4:00pm until 5:30pm, and the second skate taking place on Sunday, April 26th from 10:00am until 11:30am.
The following is a scouting report on Gilmour provided by the OHL prior to the league’s 2015 Priority Selection.
“Brady is skilled, tenacious center that competes every game and has a high hockey IQ. He’s a very good skater and makes his team go offensively. Brady is more of a pass first player and is probably the top playmaker in this age group. Brady always seems to be in the right spot at the right time, whether it’s offensively or defensively. He has high-end skill level and sees the ice very well to create opportunities for himself and his linemates every shift. Also strong on the draws and good defensively.”
