Keaton Middleton commits to Spirit

The Saginaw Spirit announce that defenseman Keaton Middleton, a third round pick this season, has committed to the club for the 2014-15 season.

Middleton was selected 50^th overall in the 2014 OHL Priority selection after posting three goals and 20 assists, in 31 games this past season with the Huron Lakers Minor Midget program.

Middleton is participating in this weekend’s Spirit Development Camp, and will also skate in the 2014 OHL Gold Cup in early May, an event that features the top 160 Under-16 players in Ontario.

Middleton is one of six Spirit prospects that will compete in the Gold Cup event.
