Petes sign local forward Mason Quinn

Peterborough Petes General Manager and Vice President of Operations Michael Oke announced today that the team has signed 2026 third round pick Mason Quinn to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

“It’s an honour to sign with such a great organization,” exclaimed Quinn. “Being a hometown kid, it really means the world to me and my family to be able to join the Petes. I’m very eager to get going and make a positive impact on the team.”

Quinn, a native of Little Britain, ON, was selected by the Petes in the third round, 59th overall, of the 2026 OHL Priority Selection. In 28 games with the Toronto Marlboros U16s last season, he scored 15 goals and added 10 assists for 25 points. The 2010-born forward also helped the Marlboros qualify for the 2026 OHL Cup, where he added a goal in four games. Before joining the Marlboros for his U16 season, Quinn grew up playing for the Central Ontario Wolves organization.

“We’re excited to welcome Mason to the Petes,” said Oke. “Being from the area, Mason is a player we’ve been following for several years through his time with the Marlies and the Central Ontario Wolves. He’s a hardworking, two-way forward who competes every shift and does the little things to help his team succeed.”
