Firebirds sign defenceman Landon Pickersgill

FLINT – The Flint Firebirds have announced that they have signed defenseman Landon Pickersgill to a Standard Player Agreement. 

Pickersgill was selected by Flint in the seventh round of the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft. He played the 2025-26 season for the Leamington Flyers in the OJHL and was the Flyers’ highest-scoring defenseman with 13 goals and 27 assists in 55 games. 

A Windsor, Ontario native, Pickersgill has a commitment to play NCAA hockey at Lake Superior State University. He is the sixth player from Flint’s 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft class to sign with the Firebirds.
