1ST STAR: BARRET KIRWIN (OWEN SOUND ATTACK):
Barret Kirwin scored his first OHL hat-trick as the Owen Sound Attack ended a five-game slide, defeating the North Bay Battalion 8-4 on the road. Kirwin scored with eight seconds left in the first period before scoring twice in quick succession in the second. The 19-year-old from Barrie, Ont. has 38 points (19-19–38) over 57 games between Owen Sound and Guelph this season including 17 points (10-7–17) over 21 games since joining the Attack. The 5-foot-8 centreman played in his 180th career regular season game on Thursday and is a graduate of the Barrie Colts Minor Midget program.

2ND STAR: AIDAN DUDAS (OWEN SOUND ATTACK):
Los Angeles Kings prospect Aidan Dudas scored and added a season-high three assists to help the Owen Sound Attack get back on the right track. The third-year centreman from Parry Sound, Ont. scored his 24th goal of the season and chipped in with three helpers, bringing his season point total to 54 (24-30–54) over 60 games. Owen Sound’s first round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection, Dudas was Los Angeles’ fourth round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.

3RD STAR: TYLER TUCKER (BARRIE COLTS):
Third-year Barrie Colts defenceman Tyler Tucker recorded a career-high four points on Thursday, steering his club past the first place Ottawa 67’s 6-3 on home ice. Tucker powered Barrie’s power play as it went 4-for-4 on the night. The St. Louis Blues prospect leads Barrie offensively from the blue line with 50 points (11-39–50) over 60 contests, recording points in seven of his last eight games. A newly-turned 19-year-old from Longlac, Ont., Tucker was Barrie’s first round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. He was chosen by St. Louis in the seventh round of the 2018 NHL Draft.
