Steelheads acquire Nathan Amidovski from Ottawa 67’s

The Brampton Steelheads have acquired forward Nathan Amidovski from the Ottawa 67’s in exchange for a package of six OHL Priority Selection draft picks.

Amidovski, 17, was selected 11th overall in the first round of the 2024 OHL Priority Selection by Ottawa. The Alliston, Ontario native is in his second OHL season and has appeared in 86 career games, recording 30 points on eight goals and 22 assists. Through 34 games this season, Amidovski has already set career highs in goals, assists, and points, posting 22 points while taking on an increased role in the 67’s lineup.

“We thank Nathan for his commitment and contributions to the 67’s team and the Ottawa community over the past season and a half,” said Ottawa General Manager Jan Egert. “We wish him the best with his new opportunity in Brampton.”

In return, the 67’s receive six draft selections, including two second-round picks and two third-round picks, adding future flexibility as the club continues to build toward the seasons ahead. Brampton adds a former first-round pick who has shown steady development and offensive growth early in his OHL career.
