Senators prospect Tomas Hamara returns to Bulldogs lineup
The Brantford Bulldogs will have an addition on the back end tonight in London as overage defender Tomas Hamara will make his season debut.
The Ottawa Senators re-assigned Hamara to Brantford after he appeared in one game with the AHL’s Belleville Senators earlier this month. The former third round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft recorded 20 points (1-19–20) over 44 games between Brantford and Kitchener last season.
A 20-year-old from Prague, Czechia, Hamara was originally selected by Kitchener with the 26th overall pick of the 2022 CHL Import Draft. He’s had success internationally, winning silver with Czechia at the 2023 World Juniors before capturing bronze in the same event last January.
The Bulldogs visit the Knights tonight before a home date with the Peterborough Petes on Saturday night.
