OHL News – Radio Edition for Jan 26/18
OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Bauer continues for the 2017-18 regular season bringing fans insight from feature guests as well as news and notes from around the league each and every week over the airwaves.
This week’s segment features four OHL players who competed in Guelph at the 2018 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game including Evan Bouchard of the London Knights, Ty Dellandrea of the Flint Firebirds, Aidan Dudas of the Owen Sound Attack, and Serron Noel of the Oshawa Generals.
All four players had an impact on the scoresheet Thursday headlined by Bouchard who was named Team Cherry Player of the Game tying an event record with four assists in the 7-4 victory. Dellandrea set a new event record scoring two goals in 20 seconds, Dudas also contributed a pair of goals after receiving a late invitation to the roster as an injury replacement, and Noel chipped in a goal for Team Orr.
The players chatted with Doyle post-game about their experience competing among the best players eligible for the 2018 NHL Draft from across the Canadian Hockey League, and what it meant to find success on the national stage.
