NHL Debut: Kirill Kudryavtsev (Apr. 14, 2025)
Kirill Kudryavtsev made his NHL debut with the Vancouver Canucks in their 2-1 overtime win over the San Jose Sharks at Rogers Arena on Monday night, finishing plus-1 with one shot on goal in 13:33 of ice time. The 21-year-old defenceman was selected by the Canucks in the seventh round (208th overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft.
Recalled from the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks ahead of Monday’s game, Kudryavtsev has registered 26 points (5G / 21A) in 63 games with Abbotsford in his first professional season.
Selected by Sault Ste. Marie in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2021 CHL Import Draft, the Yroslavl, Russia native registered 18 goals, 118 assists and 136 points in 202 regular season matchups with the Greyhounds across three OHL seasons. Additionally, he added 13 points (1-12-13) in 21 playoff contests.
