Top NHL Prospect to Attend Wolves Summer Camp
All of the youngsters attending this month’s CTV SUDBURY WOLVES HOCKEY CAMP FOR KIDS will enjoy the presence and leadership from instructor REAGAN O’GRADY. O’GRADY, 17, was recently named to the NHL CENTRAL SCOUTING ‘TOP PROSPECT
LIST’ for next year’s NHL draft. The annual Wolves’ Summer Camp takes place the week of August 15th at the Countryside Arena.
The Lindsay, Ontario native was acquired in a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs in January of 2015. The former 1st round selection stands 6’3″ and weighs 200 lbs and is expected to be a leader on the Wolves’ blueline this season. O’Grady received the
Wolves’ MOST IMPROVED PLAYER AWARD at the team’s year-end banquet.
“Reagan is one of the most positive young men you will ever want to meet and he is always willing to help-out a teammate and his team in any way possible” notes Wolves’ President Blaine Smith. “Reagan is one of those young men that is not only a terrific hockey player, but, he is also one of the best leaders that we have in our room. We are very pleased and excited to see Reagan being recognized by the NHL as we head into a new season.”
All youngsters attending the Wolves’ camp will receive instruction from O’Grady and other Wolves’ players along with Wolves’ coaches including Head Coach David Matsos, Associate Coach Drake Berehowsky and Assistant Coach Darryl Moxam. Players also receive a Wolves’ Jersey, home-opener tickets and off-ice training and information seminars to better prepare youngsters for the upcoming hockey season.
