Q: How would you describe your personality?
A: Outgoing. I am a character guy on and off of the ice. I’m very competitive and I will do anything to win. I enjoy making people laugh but I also know when to key in and be serious.
Q: What do you like to do in your downtime?
A: In my downtime I enjoy working out, practicing my shot, hanging with friends and playing NHL 14.
Q: What are you working on to prepare for the upcoming OHL season and how are you working on it?
A: I am really working on my strength and speed. In order to play at the next level, speed and strength is a big adjustment. To work on this, I have been doing a lot of leg workouts and speed training to increase leg strength and leg power. I am also working on forearm strength to be better in small stick battles.
Q: Which NHL player do you model yourself after and why?
A: I try to model my play after Brad Marchand. He is not the biggest guy but he will do anything to help his team win. He will hit, fight, block shots, score, set up plays and I also love the speed and electric game style he brings to the ice.
