Holland scores ‘goal of the year’
Peter Holland’s impressive individual effort against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds has been voted the Guelph Storm’s ‘Goal of the Year’. With 60% of the vote, Holland beat out himself for the honour. The third-year forward’s goal against London in the third game of the playoffs came second with 40%.
The Guelph Storm would like to thank all fans that voted and took part in the ‘Goal of the Year’ survey. Over 1200 votes were cast throughout the contest.
Starting next Monday, fans will have their say once again as the Storm will begin the ‘Photo of the Year’ voting. We’ll start with the top 32 pictures going head-to-head in 16 brackets, narrowing the field to 16… 8… 4… 2… and then deciding the Guelph Storm’s 2009/10 Photo of the Year. Check back to guelphstorm.com for more details this Friday.
