Jett Luchanko and Team Canada win gold at 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship
On Sunday, Team Canada featuring Storm forward Jett Luchanko took home gold defeating the United States 6-4 at the 2024 IIHF U18 World Championship in Espoo, Finland. Luchanko contributed to Team Canada with 7 points in 7 games (2 goals, 5 assists), including an assist on the goal that gave Canada the lead late in the third period of the goal medal game.

In his second season with the Storm Luchanko had 74 points including 54 assists over 68 regular season games. In this year’s OHL Coaches Poll, he was the lone player to finish in the top three of four different categories. He is this year’s recipient of the league’s William Hanley Trophy awarded to the Most Sportsmanlike Player.
The London, ON native enters the 2024 NHL Draft as the 20th-ranked skater in North America on NHL Central Scoutings Final Rankings.
