2017 Orientation Camp
This weekend, the Sarnia Sting will be holding their annual Orientation Camp at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena. Members of the 2016 & 2017 draft classes, as well as a number of Free Agents will be on hand for the two-day introductory camp. All players selected in the inaugural U18 Priority Selection will also be in attendance for Orientation Camp.
This year’s crop of confirmed attendees is highlighted by first rounder, Jamieson Rees along with each of the Sting’s first 5 picks in Saturday’s OHL Priority Selection.
Local talent includes goaltender, Jakob Knowles (selected in the 2016 draft), Nolan DeGurse (2017 13th round pick), Cameron Rombouts (U18 Draft selection) as well as Free Agent, Joel Pavey who spent the 16/17 season with the Sarnia Legionnaires.
The entire camp roster will be available at the Arena during scrimmages and on-ice sessions.

Black vs. White Scrimmage – Rink #1 Saturday, April 22nd @ 7:00 PM
Draft Pick Reception & Awards Ceremony* Saturday, April 22nd @ 9:00 PM
Black vs. White Scrimmage – Rink #1 Sunday, April 23rd @ 10:00 AM

Fans are welcome to come out and see Sting prospects during all scheduled ice times. Admission is free of charge throughout the entire weekend.
