STEELHEADS TO HOST CITY OF BRAMPTON RECREATION CAMPERS IN INAUGURAL CAMP DAY GAME
The Brampton Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), in collaboration with the City of Brampton, are proud to announce an exciting new partnership focused on connecting more children and youth in Brampton with the love and joy of hockey through a March Break Camp week-long takeover. As part of the takeover, campers will enjoy an unforgettable live junior hockey experience at the inaugural Camp Day Game on Tuesday, March 17 at 12:30 p.m., cheering on the team as they face the Sudbury Wolves at the CAA Centre.
By bringing March Break campers into a live junior hockey environment, the initiative helps inspire the next generation to learn, play and grow through sport while showcasing Brampton as a vibrant, hockey-loving community that supports youth development and celebrates homegrown talent.
“This is a very exciting opportunity for our organization to continue our growing partnership with the City of Brampton,” said Michael Hastings, Vice President of Team Services and Business Operations for the Brampton Steelheads. “We can’t wait for campers to watch future NHL stars and experience a Steelheads game with an electric atmosphere at the CAA Centre.”
The City of Brampton’s week-long March Break camps offer participants an opportunity to engage with peers and enjoy the game of hockey. The City is proud to offer a wide range of camps to grow the game of hockey amongst youth in the community.
