Spitfires hit the Lanspeary Park ice in support of Knobby’s Kids

The Spitfires and Tim Hortons are teaming up to celebrate our upcoming game at Comerica Park in Detroit with another historic outdoor first, right here in Windsor. 

Join us Monday, December 16th, at Lanspeary Park, at the corner of Ottawa and Langlois, from 4 to 6pm, for a public skate, Knobby’s Kids exhibition game, a Tim Hortons mini-game and Windsor Spitfires skills exhibition; all in support of Knobby’s Kids, which helps make sure every kid in our community has a chance to play hockey. 

SCHEDULE

4:00 to 4:50: Public skate, autograph and photo session

4:50 to 5:00: Flood

5:00 to 5:15: Knobby’s Kids exhibition game

5:15 to 5:30: Tim Horton’s Mini-Game

5:30 to 6:00: Spitfires skills exhibition

HOT DRINKS FROM TIM HORTONS!

Tim Hortons has generously donated coffee and hot chocolate to the event. All we’re asking is a small donation (no amount too small). All money raised will be matched by the Windsor Spitfires Foundation and collectively donated in full to Knobby’s Kids.

We’ll also be giving away 4 tickets to our OHL Outdoor Doubleheader game at Comerica Park, against the Saginaw Spirit on Sunday, December 29th at 1:30 pm. Just enter to win at our one of our tables at the event.
