CANADA 2-0 IN EXHIBITION PLAY AT U18s

Team Canada went a perfect 2-0 in exhibition play at the IIHF U-18 World Championships in the Czech Republic this weekend.
Kerby Rychel had two goals and an assist, as the Red & White knocked off Germany, 5-3, in their first action of the tournament on Sunday.
In Game Two, Troy Bourke scored in overtime as Canada edged the host Czech squad 5-4. The Czechs had forced overtime when Dominik Lucas Volek scored a power-play goal with just one second left to play.
The games start for real on Thursday, when Canada takes on Denmark in its first preliminary round match-up.
