TIMBERCREEK STEPS UP FOR WINDSOR HUMANE
(Windsor, ON) – The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce a charitable commitment from Timbercreek Communities as part of the club’s new MVP Program, through which the Windsor Essex County Humane Society received a donation of $1,000.
Timbercreek’s Regional Leasing and Marketing Coordinator for Southwestern Ontario, Sara Huayta, says the company is proud to support the work of the Humane Society.
“As a pet-friendly property management company, Timbercreek Communities is extremely proud to be a sponsor of the Windsor Essex Humane Society this winter,” Huayta said. “We’re excited to be partnering with the Windsor Spitfires and supporting our city’s hockey team, and for the opportunity to make a difference in the Windsor community.”
Emma Truswell of the Windsor Essex County Humane Society says it’s much-appreciated support. “Timbercreek has been really great to us,” Truswell said.
“They’re always very supportive of our events. And I really like the partnership – it makes a lot of sense because they’re pet-friendly residences. So it’s really nice to be able to promote that to people who are adopting animals from us.”
Prior to the third period of this past Thursday’s game versus Flint, Spitfires VP of Sales and Spitfires forward Cristiano DiGiacinto presented a cheque for $1,000 to the Windsor Essex County Humane Society on behalf of Timbercreek Communities and the Windsor Spitfires Foundation.
