400 Tickets Just Released for Spitfires Banner Raising Game vs. Barrie This Sunday!
(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires, two-time defending MasterCard Memorial Cup and Rogers OHL Champions, today announced that 400 tickets have just been released for this Sunday’s 2:05 p.m. game, as the Windsor Spitfires take on the Barrie Colts in a rematch of the 2010 Rogers OHL Championship series. Tickets can be purchased at the TekSavvy.com Box Office (Gate 2 of the WFCU Centre) by phone at 1-888-969-WFCU or online at windsorspitfires.com. Prior to the opening faceoff, the Spitfires will be raising their championship banners to the rafters as part of a special on-ice ceremony.
Fans are encouraged to arrive to the game early on Sunday as Meloche Windows will be hosting special pre-game celebrations starting at noon on the WFCU Centre Plaza outside of Gate 2. People will have the opportunity to take pictures from noon to 1 p.m. with the Memorial Cup and OHL J. Ross Robertson Cup Championship trophies with face painters, clowns, stilt walkers and more entertainment available! Featured musical guests “Double Take” will be performing and fans will have the opportunity to Bash a Car for Charity on the plaza.
Following the conclusion of the game, the Windsor Spitfires will be hosting a post-game Skate with the Spits. Fans are encouraged to bring their skates, gloves and helmets to skate with Sptifire players!
