The Windsor Spitfires are pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the organization’s ownership group.
At a news conference today, Team President and Owner Bob Boughner introduced Stephen Savage, John Savage and Brian Schwab, owners of Cypher Systems Group, to the media.
The company’s holdings include the Lasalle Vipers Hockey Club and the Belle River Canadiens Hockey Club.
“This is a very positive move for the Windsor Spitfires organization,” Boughner told WindsorSpitfires.com. “The new owners bring a wealth of business experience. Warren (Rychel) and I are going to stay in our roles, and do what we do. But this will help us bring the organization to a new level.”
Cypher Systems Group joins Boughner and Rychel to form the new ownership team. After the restructuring, Peter Dobrich will no longer be an owner or governor of the Windsor Spitfires.
“We accomplished some great things with Pete,” Boughner said. “Warren and I want to thank him for seven great years, great memories and his continued friendship.”
