This Season:
Kitchener and Owen Sound have faced off four times this season with the series tied at two. The Rangers have a home record of 11-1-0-0 having only lost once at The Aud back on October 6th against Owen Sound for a final score of 5-2. The last time the two teams met, the Rangers won 5-0 in Owen Sound. Jackson Parsons had a 30-save shutout. Kitchener has scored 15 goals on Owen Sound so far this season and has allowed 13 against.
Over the Years:
The division opponents have played each other 45 times over the last five seasons, with the Rangers holding the overall advantage of 25-15-4-1. While on home ice they keep the advantage with a 12-6-1-0 record.
Special Teams:
The Rangers’ penalty kill at home is the best in the league at 89.6% while Owen Sound when playing on the road is placed second best at 90.9%. Kitchener owns the second-best power play in the league converting at 29.9% and is second when at home converting at 31.8%. Owen Sound trails them with the league’s third-best power play at 29.7% and while on the road rises to second converting at 32.6%.

Points against Pennsylvania:
The Rangers last hit the ice on Tuesday night against the Erie Otters at The Aud coming out with an explosive 10-3 victory. They made it rain hats twice with Antonio Pugliese and Filip Mešár (Montreal Canadiens) both registering hat tricks. Pugliese scored four goals with his first career OHL hat trick doubling his season goal total to eight. Carson Rehkopf (Seattle Kraken) had a five-point night (1G, 4A), Justin Bottineau had three assists for the first multi-point game in his OHL career, while Roman Schmidt (Tampa Bay Lightning), and Hunter Brzustewicz (Vancouver Canucks) each had three assists.
Rangers to Watch:
- Rehkopf is currently on four CHL leaderboards as he continues to lead the CHL in points with 44 and goals with 25, he is also in a four-way tie in the CHL for game-winning goals (5) and tied in second for insurance goals (4). The centerman currently averages two points a game. While on a four-game point streak, he has put up seven goals and five assists.
- Brzustewicz continues to own the blueline in the CHL leading all defencemen in points with a 6-33-39 stat line. Brzustewicz has recorded 12 points in the past six games (1G, 11A) averaging two points a game on a six-game point streak and has recorded a point in 20 of 22 games played this season.
- Matthew Sop sits as the third top point-getter in the OHL with 35 points (13G, 22A). Against Owen Sound this season Sop has three goals and three assists for six points.

Last Time Out:
The Owen Sound Attack were on the road in Barrie last night where they came away with a 3-0 victory. Carter George stole the show with a 50-save shutout while Cedrick Guindon and Ethan Burroughs each had a goal and an assist. The Attack is currently on a four-game win streak.
Attack to Watch:
- Deni Goure is tied for the most points for the Attack with Sam Sedley at 29 points (12G, 17A). In Goure’s last game at The Aud, Goure scored the game-winning goal and tallied an assist.
- Sam Sedley’s stat-line reads 4-25-29 which puts him second for defencemen in the OHL for points. He is yet to record a goal against the Rangers this season but has recorded five assists in the four games played so far. The Owen Sound blueliner is on a six-game point streak with one goal and 10 assists in these five games.
- Goaltender, Carter George has been the Attack’s starter with 18 games played. George was named last week’s OHL Goaltender of the Week for backstopping a pair of road wins. Last night he was given Performer of the Night honours as he had a career-high 50-save night against Barrie to shut them out. His goals-against average is 2.70 and his save percentage is .916.
