Beginning March 23, you can vote for KMHA’s Eric Skovsgaard in Kraft’s Hockey Goes On contest. With your vote, KMHA will be in the running to receive $100,000 for Donna’s Kids, a program that makes hockey affordable to children regardless of financial limitations and the deserving beneficiary of the Sun Life Financial Kids In Gear program.
From more than 1,045 submissions, Kraft Hockey Goes On judges have selected the top 100 nominees and Eric Skovsgaard of local kids and hockey charity www.donnaskids.ca is one of them. The 48-hour voting period starts this Saturday March 23rd and will determine who makes it to the top 25 and which minor hockey associations receive up to $100,000!
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST on March 23 you can cast your vote for Eric and Donna’s Kids at www.KraftHockeyGoesOn.ca. The top five nominees will be celebrated for their contributions to hockey and an award of $100,000 will be given to a Hockey Canadaaffiliated minor hockey association. An additional 4 nominees per region will also be celebrated with an award of $20,000. The winning nominees will be announced on April 3rd.
Hockey is the lifeblood of Canada and Kraft Hockey Goes On is helping Canadians share their passion for the game by recognizing local individuals who make hockey happen in their communities across Canada. Think about the benefits of that same money finding its way to our regions Donna’s Kids organization and bringing the dreams of hockey, friendship and fair play to kids who’s fate of birth or circumstance may have otherwise prohibited a healthy social activity.
We hope you’ll help spread the word and get your community voting for Eric!
