Seeing stars
There are a couple of pieces to the next segment we’re preparing for Rangers Vision. I’m going to head down to the rink for some video shooting on Wednesday but today I took some time to chat with the feature player. We went a little longer than expected but we were having so much fun the time just flew by. Plus, there was a lot to talk about.
Who’s the star of the next feature, you ask? Well, yes…that’s part of it. He is a “star” and he proved it to the hockey world over the past week. It’s not like it was a secret (certainly not to Rangers fans, anyway). So let’s just call this past week his “coming out party” as he got to shine among a group of other stars. Have I given away too much already? Hmmmmmm….
He’s also a Rangers grad…and he’s got a message to send home to Kitchener that I know you’ll like.
By the way, speaking of Rangers Vision, we’re still happy to hear about features you’d like to see down the road. This is our first season of doing the segments so we’ve got lots of room to grow and we’re working on some neat ideas. I know a lot of you have asked about information about what goes on while we’re on the road and I’ve tried my best to write about that here. It’s tough to get video, though, simply from the standpoint of logistics. But we’ll keep plugging away.
In the meantime, please share your ideas and feedback by posting comments below. It can be positive or negative (don’t worry, I can take it….but no matter how many times you ask, I can’t get taller. I can, however, borrow a milk crate or step stool).
Thanks for stopping by. And we’ll see you at the rink.
