Ryan the Ranger
I guess it’s easy to feel frustrated with junior hockey in general right now, as noted in our most recent comment from Gary. Don’t forget, though, that you might be feeling this way because it hits so close to home. Tell the truth…would you really feel for the state of junior hockey if players like Skinner, Morin and D’Amigo were being kept in the NHL or AHL and away from the London Knights?? 🙂 And call me crazy, but I still have hope for Skinner at least. Of course, he stuck with the Hurricanes this week while the “veteran” of 33 games, Zach Boychuk, was sent to the A. Guess I’ve always been an optimist.
Anyway, on to Ryan MacLean. 18 years old, 5th round pick of the Soo in ’08, 2 goals in 33 career OHL games. No assists. He’s a depth guy for sure. And he’ll be in the line-up for Friday’s game against Erie. Saturday it’s on to Owen Sound. They’re really easing me into this “travelling with the team” thing. Last week Guelph, this week a little jaunt up to the Bayshore. It’s always this easy, right?
