Mental Skills Specialist
An inductee to the Waterloo Hockey Wall of Fame, Richard Ennis has been teaching for the past 25 years at the University of Waterloo. He also is a sessional teacher at Wilfrid Laurier University and has received the Distinguished Teaching Award from both universities and an Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award from the University of Waterloo Federation of Students.
Richard is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. He has published research in the areas of sport psychology, sport sociology, social psychology, and consumer psychology, as well as presented papers to the Canadian Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, the Society for Advancements in Consumer Research, and the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport.
Richard provides mental skills training for the team and individual players to enhance motivation and performance.
